To anyone talking 12-bolt/9": I've already bought the 10-bolt parts. They're waiting to be installed. Thanks for the help, looks like my goal is well within reach for fairly cheap.
Um...I went 12.82 with a full weight, bolt-on car, stock suspension, and exhaust manifolds.
I'm not really sure it was considered a "bolt-on" car, though. It was more like a "stock engine" car. At 93,000 miles I had never even had the valvecovers off....Stock rockers, injectors, t-body, FPR, water pump, etc.
The suspension was just as it came out of GM.
It still had all the seats, and A/C...The only weight taken out was the front sway bar.
For an A4 car you need gears (4.10's), stall, and tires.
