LT1 cam question, having trouble making up my mind

I've been tryin to figure out which cam to get for my '95 z28 and I'm stuck between 2 Lunati Voodoo cams, #60121 and 60122. I had #60121 on order until I pulled the old cam out and noticed the front cam bearing shot to ****, so I figured at this point may as well rebuild it. I ordered a Scat forged 383 rotating assembly today, so I'm back to looking at the 60122 cam again. Here are the specs:

Lunati 60121:
RPM Range -> 1800-5800
Lift -> .515/.530
duration @ .050 -> 219/227
adv duration -> 270/278

Lunati 60122:
RPM Range -> 2400-6400rpm
Lift -> .535/.550
Duration @ .050 -> 231/239
adv duration -> 282/290

The car has an edge 3000 stall converter, 3.73 gears, and I occasionally spray a 75 shot. I'll still have the stock heads and stock manifolds for now. It may be a while before the heads get upgraded. I wanted the 60121 cam because I figured it'd build the most low end torque for a 355, but since I'm going with a 383 and my car never launches under 3500rpm, I'm wondering if the 60122 might be better.

Is there any cam experts in here that could tell me which would build the most torque between 3,000-4500 rpm? tried calling Lunati tech, but after being on hold for 30 minutes I gave up, so I'm hoping for some opinions

More CI require more cam. Well not always, depending on the application. But, I would go with your second choice, even with your restrictions.

Well, at least those cams are different enough to be meaningful. I get really irritated when somone posts a list of four or five cams differeing by a couple of degrees and asks "which should I pick". Anyway, I am not sure why you specifically want to know about torque between 3-4,500rpm, but they will be about equal in the lower part of that range with the bigger cam pulling ahead by the top.

I'm running a 224/230 605/622 (1,6) 112+2 cam in a 350 ci, and it's pretty mild. For a 383 ci I would go with the second cam, think the first would be too mild.

Chris, I would definitley go with the bigger one, particularly with a 383. The specs of that cam are actually not far off from the one I'm running in a 350...

Thanks for the replies. I'm checking prices on custom cams since my setup is kinda odd ball, but if that ends up being too much I'll take the advice and go with the 60122.
