lt1 cam dowl length for vented opti
i see gm recomends .620 down length for vented opti. i got a cam made and the pin length appears to be .604. is this fine, or does it need to be longer? of so, how do i do this?

Your 94 should be unvented unless you have changed it. This will help.....http://para.noid.org/~muttvette/opti.html
93-94 = .300"
95-97 = .620"
if you are running the vented opti...as long as the pin engauges into the opti to drive it your ok.
