LT1 blocks

How FUBAR can a block be before it is scrap metal?

I have a hole in the side of the cylinder wall where the rod shot through it. Would it be worth anything to sell it. I already have a new block for my 383. Could it possibly be re-sleeved, or is that a worthless cause?

Re: LT1 blocks

It can be sleeved, but as long as there are plenty of used LT1 blocks, it isn't going to be worth it for anyone to buy it and sleeve it.

Re: LT1 blocks

I was thinking it might be worth 50 bucks or something so someone who wanted to sleeve it and make a larger bore could get a deal or something. Everything else on the block is fine.

Re: LT1 blocks

Can you go 4.1+ with new sleeves in an LT1?
