i broke a ring on my engine machine shop say they would have to go 60 over to true it up whats your guys thoughts on doing that

I've sonic tested these blocks at .090" in between the cylinders on a stock bore, I wouldn't even consider going .060" without checking wall thickness.

Even so, I would sleeve that one cylinder and go to .030"

Iv'e heard .055 over ,but might ask an expert.

its a stock bore. would it be cheaper to sleeve it or just get a different block

Any LT1 block should be sonic tested before you sink a lot of money into it, even the one that you already have. Neither a .060" overbore (had a cylinder wall split on one) or a sleeve is very appealing when a standard-bore block can be bought for a decent price. You don't want to be doing this on a regular basis.
