lt1 backfireing

what causes a car to back fire its got new plugs, new coil, and new ingniton

How recently were the plug wires installed?
Good bet if recently, is one or a few of them are arcing.

Do you have a check engine light on? You will need to get it scanned for codes. Check the wires for proper order....also could be the EGR malfunctioning. Hard to tell without more information.

it was backfireing before the plugs got changed and they were instaled about 5 months ago and the check engine light come on every now and again. and how would you tell if the egr is messed up
