hi there i am new to the forums and have read extensivly through the threads i think..my first question is i purchased a 96 lt1 from ss impala but no harness or ecm..my local junk yard has squad cars from same year but i was told i wouldnt work cause its a heavyduty harness....please help or are there other options..thanks

 

It will work,most ppl will use the f-body harness because there is more info online for it.

 

Thanks for the reply. So to be clear I am installing this Lt1 in a 92 camaro and if I understand you correctly the harness from the squad car of same year will work? Do I need to modify it at all. Thanks... If you have links or tutorial I would love to read any info for this swap
