Beating a Cobra is not a big deal (still fun though), Ford had a big stink cause they overrated them for a few years up until like 2000 or 2001. You probably won't do so well against an LS1 (although I could be wrong). You'll probably nose one out till about 3rd gear, then the LS1 just has crazy top end pull.

Oh, I know all about twin turbo cars, believe me. I can generally hang with them pretty well, unless it's the guys running a lot of boost. I want to ditch my blower and go with a single large turbo when/if I ever get my rebuild going. Oh well. If you friend's Mustang can take an LS1 and you can take him, then either your car has a few more mods than you think, or the guy in the LS1 was a one legged man driving a 6 speed.

Check out Jordan's beast, it's pretty nasty.

http://www.musserracing.com

He also builds custom turbo kits, only problem is he has to have your car in his clutches to do it.

There's a few other guys on the board with killer single and twin setups, check out the forced induction section of the board.

Also, ProTurbo Kits make a single turbo LT1 kit for the F body. I'm seriously considering one unless I can figure out how to get my car to Jordan.

Oh well, one step at a time, gotta build the stroker and get the DFI running first.
