LT install issue. Bolt hole needs tapped/threads cleaned up :(

Here is the issue, we have the Jet Hot headers in and they are ready to bolt up.. BUT the bolt holes on the #2 cylinder will thread in a few turns, and when pressure is applied, the bolts fall out.

I didn't break a bolt off in there I know this for sure!

A friend knows a guy who can clean the threads up with a tap.

Is it possible to do this with the head on the car, or will it most likely have to come off?

there should be enough room to retap the bolt hole. problem will be make sure its straight. if he uses thread chasers, it shouldnt be a problem. but if he uses a tap, just be careful.

The same thing happened with mine, except it was cylinder 7. After we tapped it, it was found to be just a lil chunk of metal. Took the air hose, blew it out. And everything was cake.
