Thumbs down LT headers smacking my car

hello everybodywell ive been having a problem with my headers smacking underneath my car when i get on it...is this because i need to motor mounts???how can this be fixed???have any of you had this problem???thanks for checking out my post

Definately the motor mounts. Mine did the same thing and I know there are quite a few people on here with the same problem. Good luck- Rob

im having the problem of the driving linkage rubbing on the headers, guess i have to bang the header in a little?

hello thanks for the input....o yea if you are talking about the steering wheel columm just take it out and bend those 2 lips on it and it should be fine i had the same problem...

Summit sells Prothane motor mounts, I have seen quite a few people who are using these

I think there are two types Poly and Solid. I say get some energy suspension poly's.

the poly prothanes are the way to go. you'll be wishing you did them when the headers were out.

I'll bet, I had to jack up my motor last weekend to pull the oil pan off, and just removing the through bolt from the mounts was a major *****!!

My headers banged, I went solid motor moutns problem fixed. I recomend solid, less flex then rubber or poly

oh are solid mounts the ones that come stock?
