You dont need to jack up the motor. I just did a LT swap this weekend on my car. Both sides went in about 20-40 minutes. If you get a rubber hammer you can pound the passenger side in easily. It might scratch up your coating some, but who cares?

Actually, that's a good ponit, i probably should do my motor mounts. I bought a pair from prothane and the shop i took them to wouldn't install them, claiming they were too different as compared to the stock ones. The said they probably wouldn't work, and that I should buy some from the dealer.

Hey I just installed FLPs into my 95 without raising the motor. Infact I put both headers in without even banging them on anything. These headers fit perfect. As far as the Jet hots from what I have read everone had to lift the motor.

Ill be getting the Jet hots too. They lookl like some sweet as headers. Im rebuilding my motor so I guess pulling the motor out placing the headers in the engine bay then place the motor should work fine. Then bolt down the motor mounts. Cant wiat. San Jose HUH.?? Sweet. I went to SAN JOST STATE. Played Defensive End there football in 2000 season. Had Fun up there. Thass where I bought my Camaro. Gosh Damn Cost of living is OUTRages. 2 bed APT 1600 bucks YOu gotta be kidding me. ANyway man. Good luck on the INSTALL. Send me some pictures when you get done with your install. Is your car lowered. Mine has a 1inch and half drop. IM worried bout clearance. BUT WHO Cares.

my car is at stock height right now... i was planning to lower it about an inch and a half, but i'll see after the headers are done. The roads in San Jose are not too bad for me too worry about. I have also heard that Jet Hots have good clearance and hug the floor board... we'll see.... I'll definately try to post some pics when I'm done with the install.
