LT header install a breeze

I am a Mopar fan by nature but recently bought a 96 firebird formula. I am pleased with this car and i don't know why they stopped making it. So i just put a set of pace setter LT headers & ORY on the car. From the stories I was hearing I thought they would be a nightmare. The only problems I had was the egr tube hit the firewall when installing and the ory rubs the torque arm plus its a snug fit to get some tools in there. Other then taking off the steering shaft, unbolting the pass. side motor mount, and ALT. everything clears once they are in there.

Re: LT header install a breeze

Glad to hear the install went good for you. I am nearing the end of mine as well, just as soon as I get a new header gasket in the mail. I also had problems with the EGR tube which required me to take the header off the vehicle, and heat the EGR tube with a torch and bend it enough towards the firewall so that it would clear the trans. dipstick. It took several trials of putting the header in the vehicle and taking it back out before I got the bend the way I wanted it. But it happens.
