LT-4 Intake Manifold question

Can someone help me with a technical question. I am planning to upgrade the valve train on my 93 LT-1 Firebird this winter while I have the car off the road. I was going to add 1.6 ratio roller rockers, & upgrade the valve springs and pushrods. I just noticed a guy in the marketplace selling LT-4 intakes. I seem to remember someone saying that this intake isn't that much of an upgrade. Has someone else made this swap, and is it worthwhile to spend the money in this area? And if so how much is the intake worth cost wise? Thanks for any help that you can give me.

to use the intake you will have to use the heads also or havr the intake machined becasue of the raised runners......and no it will not give you any performance gains on a stock motor without doing heads

Thanks for the info! I will spend the money elsewhere.
