LT-1 Problem

Hello,

I recently replaced the injectors on my 94 Z28. Then I noticed that from the vibration, one of the exaust tubes that lead up off of the manifold broke. I fixed this, but now the car almost never wants to start. Once it starts it runs ok, but a little rough. Sometimes, however, when giving a lot of throttle it boggs down and stalls.

Any advice given on the cause and solution of my issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Joel

the exhaust tube that runs to the back of the intake is not your problem. That's just recirculation for the EGR system which will not prevent your car from starting.

I would inspect the injectors. were they used? if they were new, take them back and tell them they were faulty. It's not very easy to test these types of injectors out the car without destroying them. I would look into this. Of course check all the connections and check your fuel pressure if not replace your fuel filter.

don't forget to make sure the injector cilps are on fully, clicked, in the right order as well may sound stupid, but it can happen.
