LT-1 Fuel Injectors for 94 Camaro
LT-1 Fuel Injectors for 94 Camaro
Hello,
I have a 94 Z28 with 152,000 miles on it. I have had the car since 96, and it has never had any major problems. Recently the ride started to get very rough. It has gotten so bad that I can smell raw fuel and exhaust when I first start the car. I was advised that I should replace the injectors, however I am not certain what kind of injectors I should get.
I found ACCELL 24lbs injectors for sale for about $40 each, however the web site did not specify what kind of car the injectors were made for. I was also told that Tomco Injectors would be good to get, but I can not find a site that sells them.
I would greatly appreciate any advice on what I can do to find affordable injectors that will work for my car.
Thank you,
Joel

I got my Accel 30lb'ers from Summit Racing for $249+shipping. I got my stock injectors, with a 105k on em, I'll sell them to ya cheap if you want or cant afford the brand new ones...
Don't jump to the conclusion that your problem is injectors... could be dead/dieing O2 sensors, exhaust leaks before the O2 sensors or misfires causing the excessively rich condition. A good scan of the car, with a log of normal and WOT driving would show you what the problem is.
If you are convinced it's injectors, get a set of the SVO 24# injectors. About $200 for a flow matched set of 8. They will seem a little loose in the rails, but they work fine.
