LS2 compatible

This may sound stupid but would it be possible to drop a new corvette LS2 engine into a 93' z28. If so how much would the engine swap cost or would I just be better off modding my lt1 for the price.

Re: LS2 compatible

Ha, the LS2 will probably be at least 10grand plus all the supporting parts. If you have that kinda money sittin around, drop it into the LT1 and you will have a LOT of respect, lol.

10 grand? Maybe AFTER you buy the tranny, k-member, and other supporting parts. SDPC has the crate motor for $5,500. :

Re: LS2 compatible

GM sells the whole engine for $5,895. Another thing I'm wondering about is if there will be a large aftermarket parts selection for the LS2.
