LS1m won't scan for KR

Sorry I don't know what version my bro has, I know it's pretty new as he said it was updated but anyways....we tried to scan my '96 Formula for KR and it wouldn't read any.

Is this normal? Should it read KR? Let me know.

Reason for KR scanning is because I want to know how much false knock this rubbing cat is giving me.

May be because the LS1M only reads GM "enhanced parameters" on the LSx series of vehicles.

Wrong. You can read KR on the L67 and L36 as well.

I can only go by what it says on the LSM1 website.

Nor are they an LSx motor.

Great so it doesn't read KR except on those 3 engines. Awesome scan tool nevertheless, but it should still read KR.

What about ATAP?
