LS1 vs. LT1 spark plug wires, very important!

I just did the switch to the LTCC system, I was wondering, is there any difference between the LS1 wires & the LT1 wires as far as strength goes? Cuz the LTCC fires from the coil to the spark plug directly without going through a distributor, so my question is, will LT1 wires such as MSD/TAYLOR hold up to that amount of voltage? LMK guys, cuz I think my MSD wires just got junked due to this unless something else caused it.

Hey Bunker. Did you put your coils on the valve covers? I'm planning to put mine on the firewall and use Taylor universal wires. What happened to your wires? I'm pretty sure wires is wires

I keep hearing about this LTCC system, I'm assuming it's an optispark eliminator/distributorless doohickey. Where can I read up on this?

Not exactly... it uses the optical signals from an Opti to drive 8 LS1 coils from the stock PCM. Read about it on Advanced Tech

As far as the wires, I use MSD 8.5mm Super Conductors with my LS1 coils, which are mounted behind the lower radiator support. You just need the correct ends on the wires to match the coils.

I'm using the LT1 ends on the coils & they seemed to of worked, or will it not work? they click in, so I figure it should work.
