LS1 Lid conversion (pics)
I wanted to do this for some time. So this weekend a friend and I did this, all of it fit under the stock hood. I don't know if there are going to be any real gains or not, I just like working on cars and thought this would be a fun project.
So please no post saying this was stupid and a waste of time because I don't care it only cost me $60 for the whole thing so with that said pics....

the lids being held down by the hood. you could bolt it down no problem, but it fits snuggly down without any problems, in other words....its not goin anywhere haha. just be careful with the sheet metal, almost cost me my finger lol.
I got it for 40 bucks used.......I just got it yesterday, and finished install today and was going to make sure everything worked before I go through the trouble of changing it, was planning on repainting it anyway at some point.....
I think its looking good maybe a canidate for ram air

Been wanting to do that with my 93 for a while too, although I want the hood fed ram air version.
