ls1 cai to lt1 cai

Okay can you modify the intake on the lt1 to the ls1 to take advantage of the super scoop or is it better to just do the reg scoop under the regular cai on the lt1 with the elbow.

In the LT1 cars there isn't enough room for the filter/box under the hood, unless you have a Ultra-Z hood er somthin.

that makes sense but is the elbow the only way to get air to the engine. is it possible to run a scoop behind the radiator up the the tb?

Behind the radiator would mean that the air is hot after it has cooled the radiator, so tperformance wise it is not a good idea to feed your engine hot air, even if it is through a straight intake.

Arrow my intake

i have 3" exhaust pipe from the left front of the car, with a large k&n filter on it...i have it from that plastic box, where the k&n is, all the way to the maf. it stay fairly cool also, i plan on wrapping it in header wrap to keep it a little cooler. i also have about 15-20 holes drilled in the plastic box where the k&n is under the car.

i could tell a diff. with that.
