LS1 brakes question (about brake line interchange)

I'm going to upgrade my LT1 to LS1 front brakes. What lines will work up front? Can I use LT1 hoses up front with LS1 hardware? Or can a set of stainless hoses for an LS1 fit both front and rear or can I use all of an LT1 kit? IOW, do I have to mix lines? Thanks.

I installed LS1 calipers with LS1 lines. They work fine, but you have to bend the hard line on your car to point "out" instead of "up". This is the results: http://z28.reanimator.org/pics/brakes_ls1_bracket.jpg

Thumbs up

Thanks. Did you just bend the whole thing back or did you get a tubing tool to bend the hardline?

Unhappy

you have to cut the bracket with a dremel or a similar tool and then bent the bracket 90 degrees

if you want you can use the lt1 brake line, you just have to use the bolt of the ls1 caliper
