LS1 Brake Upgrade Spindle Question

LS1 Brake Upgrade Spindle Question
I have purchased LS1 spindles, calipers, etc from a local salvage yard and one of the spindles appears to be slightly bent (when you place both spindles side by side face down on their studs, there is a difference in height of about 1 inch at the upper end of the spindle - i.e. the end that bolts to the upper A-arm).
It's fairly obvious which one is bent and I was wondering if it is advisable or possible to bend the spindle back to match the good one using a hydraulic press. I'm fairly sure I could get it back to be almost identical but am wondering if this is possible or dangerous.
Any input would be appreciated.

Not sure about the spindle...but as I just found out a couple days ago, if you have LS 1 calipers, then the LT 1 spare tire will not fit it. My friend has a 2001 Formula and my spare wouldnt fit on his car because the caliper was too wide. Just in case you carry your spare with you
