LS1 brake upgrade question

I recently switched to the LS1 brakes up front and i tried to take it around the block, just to runit cause it's winter and it has been justing there so, i went out of the garage and felt something but could tell, so i got out onto the street and as i cost down the street doing less then 5MPH i felt a loose feeling in the pass. side wheel. I turned the wheel and i also felt loose. As i go straight i feel a bump feeling like io ran over a large stick. It sort of felt like the wheel was half way off. I put it back into the garage and lifted up the front end and spin the wheel. It spinz good. Sounds liek a small friction between the pad and rotor, but it spins with a turn.

Could anybody point out something for me to look at cause i went over the bolts and caliper and rotor and have no clue what is not straight or causeing a problem.

There will be friction between the pad and rotor that is normal. Sounds like maybe a ball joint went south for the winter. Did you try to wiggle the tire top to bottom? Does it wiggle around? Might want to check and makes sure all your bolts are tight as well.

yeah wiggle your tires. If they wiggle, that's bad. Maybe a ball joint as has been suggested or possibly a tie rod.

Did you get hubs with the knuckles? If so, one of them might be bad. You can use one of your old hubs if needed. Also make sure you got the hubs bolted on properly.

I did check the ball joint and the tire did not wiggle. I did reuse my old hubs, so... I made sure i didn't bang them up. the only thing i can think of is the bearings inside the hub. How easy would it be to mess those up.
