I plan on doing this mod. And I've heard that the LS1 brake line won't fit up to the LT1 fitting without some work. So, I was wondering if stainless lines will fix this problem? Or is the problem the steel line? Also, does anyone out there have a install guide? Thanks.

 

Braided lines for an 98+ car will work fine on an LT1 car with LS1 brakes.

 

Do I still need the banjo fitting to mate the LS1 steel braided hose to my LT1 hose?

i bought mine from a guy who bought it from another guy, who had taken it off his 98 z28...

 

So, did you get the LS1 stainless brake lines?

 

i didnt actually install it myself, but the parts that came off the 98z28 were the parts that were installed on my 94z28...no extra parts/modifications were needed...
