LS1 air lid on LT1

There is a bellow on ebay that allows you to hook your MAF up close to the throttle body very similar to the LS1. It was designed for B bodies, but the person who manufactures the part wrote back on my question saying that there are LT1's out there running LS1 direct flow style lids with this new bellow. Anyone out there done this, or scene this??? i think its a neat concept, but i dont know if the air lid will fit under an LT1 hood, or where it will mount.... hmmmmmm

it will not fit under the stock hood.

there are several guys running ls1 lids using the Ultra Z hood and that works great.

I brought up a number of topics by just putting in "lid" into the search catagory. Here is one

BELLOW THAT WILL WORK!!!

I am doing the front end swap on my LT1 to the new front end and I have a bellow that WILL work. It's simply a vette bellow from a mid 90's vette. It's a 30 dollar part. Go to www.gmpartsdirect.com and order the duct AMS- from the 96 vette. I can't rememeber the part number. I just ordered it and got it THIS week and it will definitely work.
