LPE heads/cam?

Though pricey, the heads seem like a great set-up, assembled, all new. Bigger valves. I want something that will hit low 12's without any power adder, with bolt-ons and a torque converter.

LPE LT1 CNC heads (2100)
LPE cam (211/219) (250)
EX pushrods, pro mag 1.6 RR's etc (400ish)
Port my own intake (match)

I really want a set of proven heads. I know advanced induction seems to have a great backing, and Lloyd doesnt seem too bad. They are definately cheaper, but I think that LPE's heads, being new castings are a great choice. Any opinions?

Re: LPE heads/cam?

ive heard that when you have them flowed, that all the ports arent the same, meaning you may have one port flow 200 at a 500 lift and another port flow 220 at the same lift. which is good at all. as a matter of fact i talked to someone today who flowed some lpe heads for his customer and told them he should take them back.

go with loyd thats who did my heads. the numbers are great. theres a thread right now about loyds heads making 400 hp with stock valves.
