Lowered w/Eibach Pro Kit - Alignment ?
Lowered the car about a year ago and now notice the tires wearing on the inside in the front. Went to an alignment shop and they said I needed an after-market tie-rod end kit to get the alignment right. Is this true? If so what kit are you guys using?
Thanks,
Loren

A Panhard rod wouldn't really have anything to do with this. You've got too much camber in the front I presume. Did you get an alignment when you installed the springs, or just drive it for the last year? You need to get an alignment, but shouldn't need any tie rod kit. Just get them to do the alignment, you should be fine.

The panhard rod is in the rear of the car. I don't think it's possible to get a chamber angle on the rear, because of the axel. A panhard rod's job is to center the rear axel, and that's about it. Doesn't do much else.
Dave's right. All a panhard rod could do for me is center the rearend with respect to the vehicle; it does nothing for the front end of the car. Sometimes, when people lower their cars, the rearend is shifted slightly off center. An adjustable panhard rod can be used to accurately center the rearend.
Thanks for the info Dave. I'll go to another shop and get it aligned. Yes, been driving around for a year with no alignment since lowering.
