While i have my lcas off i want to weld tube in them to make them stronger. Has anyone ever done this? Would i be better to use a hollow pipe or a solid rod?

I've seen people use a 1" pipe. I wouldn't do a solid piece. If you do that change out your bushings.

I think he just means to change them while you have them out. Just for convenience. Why not buy a set of LCA's? I got a set for $62 shipped from ebay, and they're great...
