Low Water Light....!!!!

WTF is it f34k me day or somehting....

My water light came on.... I've only had my CSI in there for a couple of months...still activating working so it can't be that...so what would cause the low water light to come on? This is sucko! Big time-o! I'm guessing my Temp sensor is F34ked on my water pump and is causing my car to run hotter....lametacular! ...need a new sTemp sensor...where's the best place to find one? atleast this fix doesn't involve pulling the tranny again....this blows!!!

i hear you can just unplug the sensor so that you dont see the light. I think the plug is somewhere around the radiator filler neck. Myabe someone else can confirm this.

That happens to every LT1 sooner or later. Most people unplug the light in the dash.As long as you know there is coolant in it and its not overheating, don't worry about it.
Also,I unplugged mine once and for some reason the car wouldn't start afterward.Weird.

My light started coming on after I put on new cap. When back with the OEM cap from the dealer. The damn thing went out. Then, 2 months later the light was back on. It took me two weeks to figrue out the water pump was taking a crap. It wasn't losing any coolant but the seal would draw in air as the engine cooled down. Instead of pulling the coolant back into the rad from the over flow bottle.

Mine came on when the temp went down to 39* plus I replaced
my cap and that solved the problem.
