Question Low water light?

I've had this low water light on my dash for about a year and a half now, but my radiator is not low. What gives? Is it the sensor?

I don't know if this is good advice or not but the way I see it, there is a temp guage so the dummy light serves ME no big purpose. I had this problem. Bad sensor. I replaced it and it happened again so I just unplugged it......no more light!! A heed of warning tho....I am very good at maintenance and check all fluids pretty rugularly. Without this sensor......well......you can guess what may happen.

BTW, it was on the side of the radiator cap (passenger side) a couple inches from the top.

They have 2 part #s:

2 way conn is AC-DELCO #10096163
8 way conn is AC-DELCO #12135027

mine was the 2 way connector model but I have a 94. Not sure what a 96 sports. I read an article that stated that the 2000 up Camaro did away with the low coolant sensor.
