Low RPM Stumble

I've noticed a low RPM stumble (at idle) in the past few days with the 97Z28. Here's the particulars:

Stumble only noticable while under a load (at idle/in gear)

Tonight I noticed a "clicking" sound. Didn't see any spark jump. Sound seem's to be coming from around the 6&8 injectors, or at least that general area. Can only hear it at idle and only does it after the car has been running a bit. Clicking sound is intermittent, not "regular" as in every time a particular cyl fires.

Car doesn't stumble everytime it clicks, but stumble is ALWAYS preceded by the strange clicking sound.

I was pretty sure it was an injector going south until I noticed it only make the noise in closed loop.

Still learing the old LT1 as I go, is there a sensor or something there that could be the source?

Any ideas? Thanks
