Prove your gauge and wiring is good by unplugging the connector from the pressure sensor. Turn the key to ON. The gauge should show max pressure. If it does, you might need to replace the sensor or you really do have an oil pressure problem.
I wouldn't be going full throttle until you prove it one way or another.

Then look by the oil filter like noted in the pic for 1993s.

oil pressure

alright just unplugged it and the needle went all the way up. i also noticed that in the morning when i first start the engine it's about 20psi after it's been warmed up drop's to the red and never goes up no matter whaT I do. so what do think i should replace first? also could that cause the missfire? thanks

Replace the sensor, first. They can act like that when dying. I assume you found it by the oil filter? I think some early 1994s may have had it there, unless someone moved yours. It won't have anything to do with a misfire.

From my part numbers page:

1993 oil pressure sending unit GM p/n 24575127

[edit] adding:
1994-1997 oil pressure sending unit ACDelco # same GM p/n 10201491
I'm really not sure which one you have.
