low oil light on?

just did a clutch, broke open the trans to fix my reverse syncro, replaced the rear. did an oil change added reverse indiglo gauges and now my low oil light is on?

checked it, it's not low, gauge is reading plenty of pressure. whats the deal?

Check the low oil sensor that is on the side of the oil pan. Maybe your disturbed it when you were doing your work under the car.

ok i'll check that later on...
it did go off after driving 20 miles or so but was back on when i left work.

check engine light has been on too, i might try to check the codes on it later see what it's reading... car isn't starting right away as it should i think the opti is going but not real sure, i had a stumble last year around 2000rpm when you were going easy on it....

i got a new cam to install but i want to change the timing chain and opti while i'm at it. trying to decide what chain to go with and whether to switch to a vented opti or leave it.

thanks shoebox, i'll check that
