Im having a problem where if im under 2000 rpm's in any gear(usually 2-6) under slight acceleration im getting "bucking". Im constantly having to downshift my m6 to avoid this bucking. Is this a timing issue?

 

Definitely a tuning issue, probably related to timing. My tuner, Jeff Creech, corrected this issue for me.

 

Tuning will help. Depending on the cam and other things it may not be possible to get rid of all of it. Mine is only noticible when I am idleing along in 1st though, so we may not be talking about the same thing. Yours may just be cam surge.

More timing and fuel will help it.

 

Mine did it but it was only slight.
New plug wires seemed to cure it.

then that is what it is... IT SUCKS!

 

Check those spark plugs!
