Low coolant light staying on. Tank/radiator full

Ever since putting in my new motor my low coolant light stays on even though the radiator and coolant tank are both full. Somtimes it kind of glows dimly and somtime it is full bright. I had this go bad on my old WS6 and took it to the dealer to fix and it was around $150.00 I would like to fix this myself since i am sure the sensor is probably only $30-40. Where is the sensor located? In the tank or in the top of the radiator?

Thanks
Shawn

I don't know if this is the case, but I had a similar situation and it was the radiator cap. It had a leak, so the system did not stay pressurized whish triggered the low coolant light. Just a thought.

thanks guys. I was wondering if that square thing was the sensor but i was expecting it to be round and screw in. I will probably grap a new radiator cap also. This sensor has gone bad on every all 4 f-body cars i have had.

Thanks
Shawn
