Cam guys

I had a cam swap done for a CC305. Car runs fine except it need to get tuned. Yesterday during that NE black out I was stuck in traffic for 3 hours. The car didn't over heat at all but the inside of the car got extremely hot. The things inside my arm rest area seemed like they were put in a microwave. Seemed like all the heat was coming from under the my seat around the tranny. Granted I've never been stuck in such traffic for that length but is this normal?

Sounds pretty normal too me considering how hot it was yesterday. If you cat is clogged it will get extremely hot under the passenger seat.

Its amazing how much heat you feel from your car when its setting still, as long as your coolant temp was fine I'm sure all else was OK, you might though look at your tranny fluid on the dip stick and smell it to see if its burnt, if its not slipping though you should be fine.

The tranny has a 6 month old clutch and I don't drag her at all so its basically new. I guess since I've never really been sitting still for over 1 hr it was new to me. I move a about 2 block in 1 hr yesterday.
