low coolant light keeps coming on

My low coolant light keeps coming on . I have checked the coolant and just about all other fluids and can't get it to stay off. It is not running hot at all and is not on at all times. It goes on and off a couple of times and then stays on. I was wondering if anbody might have some ideas of what else to do. Where might the sensor be for this light?

I'm having the same problem. So far I have found a bad heater core causing the coolant level to drop. Also, when I checked my coolant it would appear full, but when the thermostat opened it would drop.

I hope your case is diferent than mine, you might try simply unplugging your low coolant sensor and checking the fluid regularly.

If it's the sensor(which it probably is), it's easy to replace. It's just under the fill cap on the radiator. Take the battery out so you got some room.
