Question Low coolant light on, full of coolant. Need help fast!

Hey, my "low coolant" light is on and the car is full of coolant. I lost about a half gallon of coolant when I changed the fan sensor, but I refilled it, meaning I just poured about a half gallon in through the coolant level tube (lets hear it for proper nomanclature) Could it be the block plugs? Or could it be that the low coolant sensor in these cars just suck (I've heard they do) If anything, the car has way to much coolant in it right now, could that do it? Thanks alot for any help, I need to figure this out before morning.

I am no expert but I will tell you what I was told.

Make sure you bled the system, if you dont know where check www.shbox.com

Also, most likely it is the sensor, they are know to go bad. Mine has a mind of its own and comes on someimtes, last week it did not go on for 3 days . Good luck with it

My sensor did the same thing, so I finally just unhooked it.
