low coolant light

my low coolant light pretty much stays on now. my '96 Z used to always do this but my SS never did. It's now low and it doesn't seem like it started coming on until after the first time I ran the heater on the car. What gives?

You may have air pockets in your system. Try bleeding it first. I didn't do anything about mine and it errupted into a volcano of coolant out of the filler cap

My low coolant light was on, went off. Thought it was OK, blew up.

Try bleeding it first. If its bled right then forget it. They go out all the time, just unplug it. If you don't have low coolant and you aren't overheating then you don't need the sensor. I changed mine 2 times, the third time I said f@## it and just unplugged it.
