Hi guys, I just bought a 95 TA 6speed. The guy told me once and a while the coolant light goes on even though theres plenty of coolant, well he was right its on almost all the time. Is it just a sensor or what? Thanks in advance.

 

Assuming you checked the radiator itself, not just the overflow tank it is probably the sensor or wiring. Sometimes a bad cap will let fluid get forced out over time and cause low fluid light (sensor working properly). Overflow tank will be around right level but radiator is half empty.

 

It's a common problem with the low coolant sensor.
