ive got the loudmouth exhaust on my '95z. i gutted the converter 2 years ago. there was a huge difference from my old flowmaster cat back. very loud....id like it more, but it sounds like a freekin boat!! quality of the exhaust is very nice though..fits very good.

Yes I could see where it might get very loud without cats. I will always run cats though because I am one of those paranoid people who think they are gonna get like a 2 grand ticket.

i would have to say i love my loudmouth on my 96 z28..everything else is stock other than my Pro 5.0 shifter...but it sounds sorta like a baja or fountain..i love it...

I think LM is too raspy myself but without the cats it's worse. But what's funny is I have longtubes, no cats, Borla and it's raspy now not deep like it used to be. I posted something on this today and am going to try these silencer cones for the longtubes in hopes it will give me my deep Borla sound back. You'll grow to love the rumble every time you turn that key with time.
