Lt's, ORYP, SLP Loudmouth

Obnoxiously loud - I need to get something quieter. Been looking at the Hooker kit lately, or xpipe trual duals.

I have done the same thing with my neigbors. I could be out working on the car at 7pm and the aircompressor will be running and all of a sudden the cops roll up. This B*tch calls the cops on me all the time! I finally had enough of the crap, dropped the exhaust off the chevelle after the headers, drove top right infront of her house and did a nice burnout making sure to rip it up to about 5500 before i let off! Best part was...it was around 12am. Needless to say now she is moving

Re: Loudest exhaust possible?

My neighbors haaaate my car and are always whining so I keep my cutout closed in residential just to be respectful. My pops comes over sometimes roaring up and down the street on his Harley Heritage Softail and I think it's funny to see my neighbors look up from their concentrating gardening and get pissed. You see their mouth and lips flapping but you can't hear them talk smack and cuss since the Harley pipes are crackling and barking. I just wave at them and say "ok" to whatever the heck their saying with a thumbs up. A few times a neighbor came up to me and was pissed and I said "what? I cant help it if my Harley buddies come by, I dont whine about you using a circular saw and powerdill as your remodeling your kitchen at 2am in the morning on the weekday. It made them stfu cuz their just as guilty if not worse! lol

Yep, my neighbors are real little biotches. The worst thing about it is they own a '97 Mustang GT. I just think they're jealous. I told them I wanted to role down to the strip with me, but no takers.

Loudest Exhaust? Open LTs.....

You've got emissions, thus a loud exhaust isn't that easy...

But I love mine.. .Hooker LTs, 2.5" Custom X-Pipe, 12" Long Bullet Mufflers, and out infront of the rear tires.... At idle it's honestly not that loud, but at full-throttle it's a animal and just screams. I can't wait till the Heads/Cam get put on next year...

But I'm used to loud vechiles, so it maybe quiet to me, when it's loud to others. My brother's truck; which is 8'8" tall and has the exhaust exiting about 4' off the ground; is hellish loud, even at idle, not to mention full throttle. 468 BBC, Hookers and then STRAIGHT out the back, with only 2 of the same mufflers I'm running; the 12" Bullets. . That my friend is LOUD... I can hear him accelerate from a red light about a mile a way; at full throttle it SCREAMS louder than some race cars that I've heard. So, I maybe a little bias...

Re: Loudest exhaust possible?

Here is what I have on my Z-28, and it is the loudest camaro I have ever heard that is driven daily. I bought a Dynomax bullet race muffler, and went to the exhaust shop and had them run me a 3 inch exhaust all the way from the cat back, with the muffler right before the pipe goes up over the axle, then had it split out into 2 seperate 3 inch pipes. People can hear me coming from over half a mile away without even having my foot in it. Sounds good, tends to pop a little bit when in neutral and revved over 4 grand.
