Re: Lots of LT1 Related Questions... HELP!
The SES is on intermitantly... with several codes...
I get one for the transmission every once in awhile - P01870 (I believe) - Transmission component slipping. I'm thinking that this one is due to my convertor.
The other one I have seen is the one I posted above.
I am using a Snap On Scanner. I am using it under the Engine Data menu.
When I hooked it up today I was originally just going to check the IAC and see what it was doing when the motor started to do it's Idle surge.
I had noticed at the track on Friday night that the SES light was coming on and off and was also going to check those codes to see what was up.
The problem is that when I hooked up the scanner I had NO voltage at the ALDL because of a blown cigarette fuse.. DOH! So in trying to figure this out I inadvertantly pulled the PCM fuse which I'm sure reset any codes.
I haven't gotten to drive the car since I pulled that fuse to make any codes set. The only code I've gotten so far was the one I posted in my last post. Again.. I think it's related to my AIR Pump delete.
Darn I'm getting confused... Anybody got a match? I'll fix this thing good.
