Thumbs down Lot of Valvetrain Noise

I am getting a lot of chatter from the valvetrain in my 95 Camaro. It has stock lifters, 306 cam, 1.6RR's, with the matched springs....The car has 85k miles on it, and about 40k on the valve train. You guys think I can just adjust the valves and be okay, or do you think I need to test/replace the lifters/springs? It sounds like my nova that has a solid roller in it...

What spring setup are you running? Mine is loud as hell too with the 987 springs, R lifters, pro mag 1.6 NSA rockers, and CC 306 cam. Im going to try adjusting them for the billionth time this weekend, good luck!

It has the 987 springs. I just couldn't remember the number at the time. That is what everyone seems to run. Let me know if it seems to help your situation.

Any decent aftermarket valvetrain with rollers will be audible. So far the best bet to help calm it a bit although expensive are LT4 composite valve covers .
