Lost optispark Driveshaft! help!

SO its missing... I googled it, and noone seems to sell one...

I seen one on ebay, but it was used and obviously outrageously priced...

Anyone got one that can help, or anyone know someone that sells them?

I know that gm has no seperate item number listed....

optispark driveshaft? Do you mean the driveshaft for the water pump (10219554) or the coupler (10128334)? I think the only way to get the driveshaft out of the optispark body is to press it out; if you lost that you may be able to buy an opti with bad sensors and cannibalize it for bearings and shaft?

The splined opti drive stub will come off a stock opti.

interesting, did not know you could take that off the earlier version; guess I will chalk that up as one more "improvement" GM made to the non-vented opti.

Not only does it pull out of the back of the Opti - it has the same spline pattern that needs to be aligned in the back of the Opti, just like the other end gets aligned in the cam sprocket.

No wonder why everyone has such a hard time putting the unvented versions back in correctly.
