You can either do true duals over the axle or the SLP loudmouth.

I personally have true duals with turndowns dumping in front of the axle, but will eventually have it go over the axle once the cops start complaing.

No complaints so far.

Thanks for the replys, alot of good info. I'm not familiar with the McCord power plate, is it anything like these cones?http://store.summitracing.com/produc...earchtype=ecat
or these inserts?

My cut out is a 3" so thats an option. Anybody ever put one of these in their cut-out?

I'd been running the flowmaster single out cat-back for a while before I finally had a cutout installed. The dyno verified that the flowmaster was costing me 15 rwhp. Recently I came across a good deal on a borla and decided to try it out. I was able to mate the borta exhaust, from over the axle back, to the flowmaster primary pipe which still contained the cutout. In essence I now have 2 cutouts. I've tried running with the cutout open and the borla completely closed and running the cutout closed and the borla open. There was absolutely no difference between the cutout being open, and the borla being open. Performance was exactly the same. I also have SLP shorties.

Ahh, so you showed no loss with the open Borla vs the cut-out. That verifies an earlier post as well. Sound like the way to go and keep the dual tips.

I dont understand? going with Borla would be stupid. YOU said that you wanted the least power loss with out having to have a cut out, HAVE YOU THOUGH ABOUT WHAT THE BORLA IS? With it uncapped it is a frggin cut out lol

Kinda defeats the point huh?

Just get an electric cutout. Have open when you race, flip a switch and back to normal quiet driving. I have one on my SLP 2OTL, I love it, much better than crawling under the car to cap and uncap it.

True, but the difference is that the cut-out is under the car where the borla exits the rear of the car. Probly still real loud but maybe a different size restrictor could be a compromise.

I just raced my Camaro this weekend with my cutout open.......NO GAIN AT ALL. So I guess that's to prove some of these $**** who hate Flowmaster are just repeating things they hear. In their mind Borla costs alot so its better...........I'm not a fan of Flowmaster, even I was amazed my car ran no better with a cutout.
