Loss TQ with 4inch Mufflex?

I just got my Hooker LT's put on yesterday. They go into a 4inch mufflex y-pipe to my hooker catback. The car feels a lot faster now. My freind said i shouldn't of went with a 4inch mufflex and i should of went with the 3inch y-pipe because it will make me loss a lot of torque compared to a 3inch Y-pipe is this true?

there isnt as much back pressure with a 4incher as there is with a 3 which will make you loss some torque down low, but the higher flow will make more power up top and if you have enough supporting mods you may not even notice the loss down low

I loose no torque with my setup & cut-out open or cut-out closed going throught a stock muffler, so there is proof that backpressure adding torque is a myth.
