Okay recently my car feels like it has lost some power, when ever I gun it from a stop it takes a while almost like it hesitates. Also my driveway is on a incline and have step on the gas to get up there, a couple of times my car has turned off on my while trying this, all my lights dim, then my check gauges light turns on. Im at the point where i think i might take it in to the dealer . Sorry for long post, but any feedback will help........thanks guys

 

See if you can get a scanner off a friend or something, or take it to a dealer to scan it to find out what code it threw. That should point you in the right direction as to finding your problem.

 

I have wanted to buy a scanner for a while but not sure which one would work best for a obd1. I was told by people at the dealer that they will be the only ones that can read a code, is this true?
