Get a new mechanic. He'll tell you they take a while to put on because he is intimidated by the task. If you've never done it before it can be time-consuming, but it's not like it will take you a month. You can have them in in a weekend, taking your time. As mentioned, they provide immense gains over the stock manifolds and are one of the best bang-for-your-buck mods for LT1s.

I have the same set on my car. Although it does seem as though they are out of stock - look on eBay for the stainless "knockoffs" - they are the same as LPPs.

hey my buddy is far from intimidated from putting those headers on he just said that it would take a while to put on i.e. about a day to do not a month
