Cool Looking for LTx Ported Cylinder Head Images

I am writing a Heads/cam final chapter for one of my books (1993-2002 F-body Performance Handbook, thru Motorbooks) and I have realized I don't have as much access to ported LT1/4 and aftermarket heads as I thought I did. Vendors for such heads are too busy this time of the year to gather these images. So, if anyone has any media sized quality images they would like to see in print, shoot me an email: lsx-images sbcglobal net

Any additional information with the heads is welcome - if not standard aftermarket castings. Things such as runner sizes, chamber size, flow numbers, camshaft used and any before/after dyno graphs all go a long way. As far as images of heads, I myself like to use a full shot of the head, one of the intake runners, exhaust port, springs and finally combustion chamber. That is ideal, but I'd almost take anything supplied.

Also can probably use a handful of an in-car heads or cam swap on an LT1 engine. I'm limited to about 25 total images including the LSX engines, so I don't need a ton of anything, just a few good shots.

These guys print at 300dpi, so if you only have a 800x600 image or a crazily cropped/resized image, I can't use it as it will likely be too small.

Well, I didn't intend to write a post this long, thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide. When the time comes that this book is available I'll be letting y'all know.

Edit:
Here is the link to the book, and the cover shot.

Definitely can use the AI heads. PM me or shoot me an email and we'll figure out how to send them over.

Thanks,

Cool, I think it is to be released just towards the end of summer. I actually finished the book in October and it was already full and past the content limit at that point which is 50K words, so I decided to axe the H/C chapter at the time. After talking to my editor, I was able to get a little more room for an extra section, so this is bonus material. (I'm already at 4,500 words for this section and will have to cut back the fat soon!)

Here is a rough table of contents:

1) Introduction to F-bodies
2) Suspension, Street, Drag, and Autocross
3) Drivetrain and Braking
4) Intake, Headers and Exhaust Systems
5) Engine Bolt-Ons, Cooling, Fueling and Ignition
6) Transmissions, Clutches, Converters
7) Power Adders, Blowers, Turbos, and N20
8) Internal Engine (Heads/Cam/Rockers/Timing Sets, etc)

This book is more of a parts guidebook than a how-to manual, although a mating how-to/instruction manual may come afterwards. I'm also currently working on a LS1 Retrofit Manual that is due in 4 months, so it is pretty hectic here to say the least.

I'd be careful using pictures of a companies ported heads as you may be in violation of copyright laws. I think it's great that you are doing this but you stand to profit from the publishing of this. Make sure you give the builders/porters credit and have their permission to do so.

Correct, I can only utilize images with the image owners permission. Who ever took the original picture or someone that represents the manufacturer/companys media department may give permission. I often get release forms send in signed by the owner of the company I'm discussing.
